The Summer of 2017 favorite artworks with the addition of new pieces returned to the newly renovated 19-ancer Walker Arts Sculpture Garden located in Minneapolis.
NAC assisted in the updating the bathrooms located near the park entrance. The updated plumbing allowed for water fountains to be accessible throughout the park.
Cowles Conservatory has been converted from an enclosed, four-season hothouse into an open-sided pavilion with the help of NAC. The frame, roof, and upper walls are left intact, but the bottom 10 feet of its glass walls were cut away. Smooth concrete replaced the brick-paved floor to make the building more accessible to disabled visitors.
