The Minnesota Wild’s new practice facility called TRIA Rink at Treasure Island Center is located just a few blocks away from Xcel Energy Center. The NHL-sized ice rink will be on the top floor of the historic Dayton's building, a St. Paul landmark since its construction in 1963. The iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry sculpture of the Walker Art Sculpture Garden located in Minneapolis welcomes multiple new artwork installations as part of the garden’s multi-million-dollar renovation and expansion. After nearly three decades of being open since 1988 the Sculpture Garden was due for an upgrade. The garden which closed in 2015 will re-open June 10th just in time for summer. The City of St. Paul is ready to reveal the $16 million renovation of the historic Palace Theater located a few blocks from the Xcel-Energy Center on Kellogg Boulevard. NAC worked closely with the city of St. Paul and other contractors to complete the necessary renovations to turn the 100-year-old Palace Theater into a modern downtown music venue. Completion of the two-year renovation project is set to be finished early 2017 and will be operated by First Avenue and Jam Productions who has a 15-year lease on the building.
